Great Bay Art Show

Art of Great Bay April 4 – 6, 2025

Dear Artist,

We cordially invite you to show and sell your work at our 19th annual Art of Great Bay show. Our theme this year will be New England from the Mountains to the Sea: The People and Places You’ll Find Along the Way. We look forward to submissions celebrating the region’s culture, architecture, agriculture, activities, and more.

The event will be held in the Hugh Gregg Coastal Conservation Center at the Great Bay Discovery Center in Greenland, N.H. An opening reception for artists, their friends and families, and Stewards supporters will be held Friday evening, April 4th, and the show will continue Saturday and Sunday, April 5th and 6th. Artists do not need to be in attendance during the show but are encouraged to attend the Friday night reception; however, artists selling tabletop works (pottery, jewelry, etc.) will need to have representation the entire weekend.

Hanging works for sale will generally be limited to the hanging area of one display panel, for a total size not to exceed 30 inches by 48 inches. Only original pieces will be considered for the show. In addition, we will be including collections of fine crafts such as sculpture, glass, pottery, fabric, and jewelry.

If you wish to have your works considered for the show, please send two to three representational digital photos of your art (art.show@greatbaystewards.org) by February 7th (it would be appreciated if files could be named with your last name or work title).  These do not need to be the works you plan to include in the show. Please also include the medium(s) in which you work.  The committee would like to remind artists that the quality of the images submitted can impact acceptance, so appreciate receiving the highest quality images possible. If the committee accepts your work we will send you a registration form to be returned with a $25 fee. You will receive 70 percent of the proceeds from your sales, with 30 percent going to the Great Bay Stewards to support the programs at the Discovery Center. We will also be grateful for a donation of a piece of your artwork for a raffle during the show.

Sincerely,

Allison Knab, co-chair
