Please Note: The scope for this Request for Proposals has been updated and the deadline for responses has been extended by 3 weeks.
In partnership with the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, the Great Bay Stewards is issuing a Request for Proposals for a contractor interested in working with us to scope and implement communications products for a Salt Marsh Stewardship Guide.
The Salt Marsh Stewardship Guide will help educate and empower residents and landowners about how they can be good stewards and neighbors for salt marshes. The Guide will provide information on what salt marshes are, the ecosystem services they provide, and the threats they face. It will then provide a set of approximately 7-10 guiding principles that residents and landowners can follow to promote the health and resilience of their local salt marshes.
The selected contractor will work with GBNERR staff to review the current Salt Marsh Stewardship Guide outline and to scope and develop graphics, messaging and communication products. Material developed for this project will be hosted on an existing website (des.nh.gov/water/coastal-waters). The selected contractor will help GBNERR prioritize and develop the potential communication products to maximize impact within the budget.
Additional details are available in this Request for Proposals-Salt Marsh Stewardship Guide.
Proposals are due by October 18, 2024. Proposals and questions can be directed to:
