At our October meeting, the Great Bay Stewards were thrilled to nominate Justin Caramagno to the Board of Trustees. Mr. Caramagno is the principal of the Law Offices of Justin Caramagno, P.A on the Hill in Portsmouth. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science Degree, then went on to Tulane Law School in New Orleans where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 1987.

An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Caramagno is committed to a healthy estuary and Seacoast.  He lives on Little Bay in Dover, N.H., and enjoys sailing, fishing, and oystering in and around Great Bay. Mr. Caramagno joined the Board of the Great Bay Stewards because he cares deeply about preserving the water quality and wildlife in and around the Bay.

Mr. Caramagno has also shown he is committed to the equal access to justice for all citizens regardless of their ability to pay. He is a past recipient of the New Hampshire Bar’s “Rockingham County Pro Bono Attorney of the Year” award and is an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Reduced Legal Fee program. He is passionate and committed to the principle that everyone should have access to legal representation, and he works hard to ensure a level playing field in his community.

“In addition to his legal expertise, Justin brings a passion for the environmnent and the estuary to the Great Bay Stewards board,” said Chair Deborah Alberts.  “We are very excited to work alongside him in protecting and celebrating the estuary.”
